Yet, in this era of technological advances, the traditional method of acquiring the latest technologies has been slow to change — until now.

Obsolescence is now obsolete. With the innovation of SpectrInline®, Ometric® brings the flexibility and the sustainability of Ever-Green® to the industry.
Simply stated, Ever-Green allows you to either license or to purchase SpectrInline. With either option, the Ometric Ever-Green advantage supports and keeps the delivered units current to the latest technological advancements — eliminating system obsolescence.
Ever-Green Licensing Option:
With the licensing agreement, a flat fee covers the use of SpectrInline. In exchange for that locked-in fee, Ometric supports and keeps the delivered units current to the latest technological advancements for the duration of the license agreement. The license agreement is an expense, not a capital equipment investment. The license price is flat and constant on a yearly basis for the duration of the contract, and it is not affected by variables such as obsolescence, cost of capital, depreciation and cost of maintenance.
Ever-Green Purchase Option:
With the SpectrInline purchase option, Ometric supports and keeps the delivered units current to the latest technological advancements for a duration of three years. The purchase is a capital equipment expense and is subject to variables such as cost of capital and depreciation. At the end of the initial three-year service agreement, obsolescence and cost of maintenance are factors. Renewed service agreements are an option.
Ever-Green Support
Remote monitoring:
- The SpectrInline system is monitored by an Ometric Support Team via an Internet connection to determine operation and performance integrity, advise our customer about potential issues, perform diagnostics and apply corrective actions remotely (if possible) or on-site if necessary.
On-going calibration validation and programming:
- Calibrations are monitored for on-going validation. As each customer introduces new products into their process, Ometric develops, programs and remotely downloads new calibrations
Upgrading the installed system to the newest versions of software and hardware as they become available:
- New software updates are remotely downloaded from the Ometric Support Center.
- Ometric Technical Teams install hardware upgrades on site during the customer’s scheduled maintenance activities
On-site technical support, as needed:
- Duration: three years
